Single Line Kites

No matter your age or experience level, flying a single-line kite is a delightful and accessible activity. These classic kites come in a variety of shapes and sizes including diamond, delta, box, easy flyer kites, and others. One line of string is used to control these kites, making them suitable for both novice and skilled kite flyers.

More about single line kites

Single line kites are just that, one line to control the kite's movements. They are fun and easy to fly.

How to fly

Stand with your back to the wind. Hold your kite up and let the line out. If there is sufficient wind, your kite will go right up.

If there is not enough wind, have a helper take the kite downwind and hold it up or prop the kite up, reel out enough line for altitude and simply pull the kite aloft.
