Haven't used this purchase yet, however have used 300' + 500' of 50# line joined. Excellent line, though I prefer using my own homemade winder, that doesn't twist the line. Yoyo winder is solid and quality, I just prefer to use a crank reel. Line is synthetic, so it needs the ends melted after cutting. It holds well when knotted, either a bend knot to join two ends, a fisherman's knot to tie to the swivel clip, or a bowline to tie it to my reel.
